Food and shopping at Coots bar and grill was great. So many clothing items and other random items to look at. Even have ice cream available. Went into the grill and had a wonderful dinner with Chicken tender baskets and a shrimp basket. The view is amazing. Well wirth the stop.
Food was the best bar food I’ve ever had! Our bartender Amanda was amazing and super sweet! The environment was so welcoming and warm! 1000000/10 recommend!
Good vibes just hanging out with family, the sun, and the ocean. Food is good. Service is a little lacking. Took 40min to get our drinks that we ended up ordering at the bar. It's like they either don't care about running up the tabs and getting tips, either hung over, or honestly just living their best life on 'island time' Overall a great little spot if you are not in a hurry.
We went here for Lunch and then later for Karaoke!!! This place stays open later for Karaoke and drinks longer than any other place on the island as far as I know!! The people here are very friendly and the karaoke was very fun!! They also have a shop with all kinds of great things you can find for beach going only a door away AND even BETTER!! Two really great views into the ocean with a beach you can go down into and walk on if you choose not to eat or drink inside!! The food is okay here in my opinion, BUT the atmosphere, views, large shop, and karaoke/music/drink options make it one of the best on the island!!!
Great atmosphere, service, and food! Views of beach all around. Had the shrimp po boy and my husband had buffalo chicken wrap, excellent! Both came with fries which were also very good. Waitress was Awesome! Was so happy to see they were open after our walk on the snow covered beach...yes snow. Edisto beach got like 5”of snow! Thanks Coot’s!
Excellent Service. Beautiful views. Typical old style bar. High top seating. Nice views of the ocean. Chicken BLT wrap was very good. Fried shrimp platter with fries. It was very tasty, and the batter was freshly made. Fries were crispy and prepared to order. The onion rings were excellent. Restrooms could use a little help. The gift shop is close by with a large assortment of goods to purchase.
It was a little challenging at first to find the entrance, but a beautiful view over the Atlantic Ocean. Outdoor seating available. The waiter was super friendly. They were busy when we were there, so paying took a bit, but we weren't in a hurry. We ordered the Boom Boom Shrimp, and white chicken pizza were great! The Shrimp had a little spice but our whole family enjoyed it. The pizza was hot and fresh! A perfect blend of sauce, cheese and toppings. The chicken on it had seasoning! Looks like a fun place after the kids are in bed!
A very casual bar & restaurant (mainly a bar on the inside), great for stopping by for a yummy meal. Lisa was an excellent server and was very friendly. The French fries were very good and the wraps were flavorful.
